well, the female has to be larger. She has a big job.
The lady beetles have been out in great force this year. As such, even though the roses have burst open weeks early in some places around here, the aphids haven't been much of a problem.
About half a second after this was shot, Marsha walked over, not realizing what I was doing, and pulled the grass up and flug it across the yard.
They flew off, still attached, as one. Hang on, baby.
