We sure hear a lot of complaints about how hard it is to break into the 3-D animation business and Hollywood. Many in the US are complaining that most of the jobs are now going to India, and whereas, it is true that the Indian animation entertainment sector and electronic arts industry is growing by leaps and bounds, we must also realize that there are many more animation films every year than there ever have been in the past.Second, is your knowledge enough to face the competition in animation? 1. Cama

 

Cama, which was born in 1995, is the product of breeding a llama and a camel. Camas is characterized as being humpless and having the long fluffy coat of a llama. In addition, its ears are half way in length between camels and llamas, but they have the strong legs of a camel.

2. Zebroid

 

A zorse is the result of crossbreeding a horse and a zebra. A zonkey is the result of crossbreeding a donkey with a zebra. The Zony is the result of crossbreeding a pony to a zebra. All these three are called zebroids, which are defined as a cross between a zebra and any other equine. Zebroids are also preferred over zebra for practical uses such as riding because of its body shape.

3. Hybrid Pheasant

4. Leopon

 

The Leopon is the result of breeding a male leopard with a female lion. The head of the animal is similar to that of a lion while the rest of the body is similiar to leopards. The most successful breeding programme was at the Koshien Hanshin Park in Nishinomiya City, Japan. Leopons are also larger than leopards and likes to climb and enjoy water.

5. Liger/Tigon

Ligers are crossbreeds between a male lion while Tigons are crossbreds between a male tiger and a female lion. Ligers are the world's largest cats. On the other hand, Tigons are usually smaller than either of their parents. Male Ligers or Tigons are sterile while the females are often fertile.

The fantastic scene of ants sipping colored sugar water, the biggest albino catfish, a 150-pound new-born giraffe at the zoo in Norfolk, the picture of courageous frog battling with a snake are some of the most impressive photos of animals during the last seven days: from August 1 to August 7, 2011. 

A man took a gorgeous photo of ants having tasted colored sugar water he created after his wife showed him some ants having turned white after sipping on some milk. After that, he mixed sugar water with eatable colors red, green, blue and yellow and put them in his garden. The interesting thing he discovered was that ants liked lighter colors such as yellow and green.

This giant fish also the Britain biggest albino catfish has trapped in a British place and caught by Chris Grimmer from Sheffield with scales at 194lbs - 2lbs

Arabian nights!

I was in my local library yesterday & cruisin' the children's book section (which i love to do ;)) when i came upon a book called, "Polo: The Runway Book" by Regis Faller.

When I went home and started reading, I fell in love right away! info you don't know who he is, check him out: www.regisfaller.com/

Anyway, in the book there's a part where the main character, Polo, finds himself enjoying a desert party with gypsy elephants dancing away! I thought it was too adorable I wanted to expound more on this particular scene :)

Had alot of fun making this piece, making the background & creating the other animals to join in the festivities ;) I feel I did a decent job, though I think next time I'll ink the characters b4 coloring them in photoshop. I want to be a children's book illustrator one day, so I think this was good practice.
