We hear a lot about the concerns surrounding electronic dog collars. These collars do have built in safety features that help make them safe, useful and humane for all normal, healthy dogs.

Collars with Sound Correction
If you review the electronic training collars that are available you'll find that nearly every one of them has an audible option. These can be used with perimeter training, hunting/field training or even for training your pet. These collars issue a sound that while most people can't hear them they are not pleasant for your dog to hear. These beeps can be used to stop inappropriate behavior by sending a transmission from a hand-held transmitter. Most dogs once they realize that certain behavior results in these unpleasant sounds then they will stop the behavior. The training is accomplished because the animal begins to realize that the sound is associated with the behavior and soon he'll realize that if he acts differently, the sound will not be heard. This will help keep your dog safe, behaved and well under control. These corrections are effective and they are humane, safe and temporary.

Collars that Vibrate
We've all had a telephone or perhaps a pager that vibrated so we're familiar with how mild the vibration is. Much like this, an electronic vibrating collar is used for training dogs. While these collars issue a mild vibration that cannot harm your dog, because the vibration starts suddenly, the dog focuses his attention on what's going on. If the vibration is properly administered, the dog learns that it's an indication that he's doing something that is unacceptable. These vibrations can be manually controlled if used in a fence and they can be electronically programmed into collars.

Either way, this vibration is likely to deter inappropriate behavior or barking.

Training Collars
One on nice thing about the collars for training is they soon become self-fulfilling. Your dog is likely to correct any behavior that is unacceptably by your dog merely seeing you approach him with the collar. This means that your dog is conditioned to associating the beeps or vibrations with the collar. This method of training is called associative learning - the dog learning the proper response to direct stimulation.

The Electric or Static Charge
Owners of dogs who are particularly stubborn may find the beeping or vibrating collar isn't enough to control their dogs. The electric or static charge that your dog gets from these collars is quite similar from the shock you'd get if you picked up a static charge from your carpeting and then touched something metal. The shock has no long term effect, but it is a bit of surprise.

Trainer Control
One of the best safety features of most electronic collars is that you as the trainer have complete control over the level of stimulation. You elect the intensity of the beep, vibration or static. Your dog will receive the training he needs, it will be humane and you can achieve results quickly, and with complete control. You'll quickly find the levels that work best with your dog.

You will hear about many trainers that tell you that they check out the collars on themselves. This is because trainers want to be comfortable that the level of stimulation that they are giving to their dogs is safe. Basic Difference Between Humans and Animals

When you train animals good and lovingly they, more generally than not, become worthwhile, valuable and trustworthy creatures. When you educate children lovingly with high education many of them become adults with a criminal inclination that can do great injury to other people or even to a great segment of society. I mean hereby that a well-trained animal will lose its predatory nature and will trust its master for its needs in return for its obedience. That is what animal training is all about and people are very good at training animals- -any kind of animal.

When you train children through a well-rounded university training the child's predatory nature seems to be reinforced and awakened in the adult. We can see this in the behavior of professionals- -such as lawyers, financial gurus, doctors, and many other types of professionals catering to the needs of individuals. One cannot expect full dedicated service from them because they set things up so that you will become dependent on them so they can continue to charge you their outrageous rates. They give you diluted, marginal service.

When you go to a medical doctor, for instance, you are not expected to pay your fee for all the things he knows but you do not need. You pay him for knowing, exactly, what you do need. If he starts guessing and his guesses do not pay off for your health situation, the doctor has not provided you with the skill and knowledge you do specifically need. You, thus, got nothing of value in return for your fee to him. My wife has good experience with that with many of the medical professionals she has seen. It just does not seem fair.

We must realize that we, the public as a collection of individuals, provided for their training.

We are the ones authorizing their education and paying a great deal toward their education through taxes, grants, voluntary services, etc. They bite the hand that allowed them to be educated.

For instance, I know of a patent lawyer to bring a patent application into the best shape possible so that the patent application does not become a sort of ping-pong ball, bouncing back and forth between the lawyer and the patent office. One has to pay through the nose upfront to retain them. The lawyer never returned any phone calls, emails and letters. It was as if he were god, unreachable. His office typed the invention as given by his client. There was no iota difference. The lawyer was told repeatedly to rephrase the wording of the claims in the patent. It ended up that the client's wording, not the lawyer's was sent in to the patent office.

He was also demanded of him, repeatedly, to request for priority handling because of old age allowance for the client, because the nation would save huge amounts of diesel fuel and because the patent could have military significance. This request can only be made once- -together with the original filing. Yet, the application was filed without this request.  

Then, the lawyer was paid extra, upfront, to belatedly file that request. This was never done either.

On the other hand, it happens quite regularly that I pay for $ 30.00 groceries or prescriptions with a $ 100 or $ 50 bill, and then walk out without even thinking of receiving my change. It has never happened that the clerk did not call me back, or followed me to my car to hand me the change. See the picture. Doctors, dentists and psychiatrists always take my money (I do not have insurance), and will not return a dime even though their involvement did not resolve my problems. We all can tell similar stories about that.

Doctors, psychiatrists, dentists, even clerics of the many diverse religions, you name them- -they all do the same routinely. A dentist some twenty years back claimed to have found 15 cavities that needed his attention. The fellow never came back to him but the next dentist he went to 3 years later claimed he could only find 3. I wonder if that guy even had those 3. It truly is outrageous that educated people deliberately do these things. I am sure that all of you can recount many similar incidents.

I can go on and on finding ever more instances myself. We have all felt serious losses due to the foul play of top-level financial gurus and bureaucrats in this present economic crisis. Since the inception of the Federal Reserve Board financial crises are manufactured. The Board's powers and authorities lie exactly in the role of guiding the economy so that such crises cannot take place. The board's powers are so great that it is just a minor routine to create a financial crisis.

I believe that the difference between trained animals and humans lies in that animals have no trouble loving and respecting their masters for what they are. Educated people, however, strife to love themselves more than others; and to be master more than being of being a subordinate or of true service. Their drive for success and scholarly recognition seems to thwart many from using their learned skills for altruistic goals.

Trained animals understand that trying to be a master is an endeavor in futility but humans erroneously believe that when enough authority, power and cunning are exerted there can be no one greater than he or she. Power leads to insanity and insanity leads to everlasting unhappiness.

Trained animals, because they strife to have no more than what is needed now for their maintenance can find happiness and can accept love and return love genuinely towards their master(s). Educated people, however, because they are driven by gain of lucre, vanity and jealousy, insist to gain more power, wealth and recognition than others at whatever costs to others; which drive leads to an insane type of competitive existence where happiness and love are sacrificed for the goal of being seen and recognized as a master of some sort. Utopia cannot be found on earth because enough, supposedly intelligent, educated people intensively strife to prevent it.

Masters are feared and envied but are never loved and honored. Masters in any kind of endeavor rely on their prowess and cunning to produce riches and arts of the material kind. Whoever reveres a master cannot know love and is spiritually lost. Fear and love for the same entity cannot coexist. Both love and fear produce obedience and cooperation. Genuine cooperation comes either through love or fear- -never together by the same person for the same master, not in animals and not in humans.

Both emotions produce somewhat the same effect, but the master insists on being feared over being loved. Masters instill fear. Masters feign love, but with a blunt instrument held behind the back, which instrument enforces fear in subordinates and masters practice deceit on their clients routinely and professionally.

However, there is one type of master that does not seek riches, power and prestige. There are very, very few of such masters because they seek to bring understanding of spiritual truth to others. It is a futile type of endeavor because there is no commercial market that can be served. The true master's teaching is absolutely not sought in the world or even in the universe. The truth these masters are willing to give will destroy a supposed pupil's dependence on physical reality. It will leave them in a physical and mental void. For physical creatures this is an utterly ridiculous proposition because it would destroy the primary purpose of their physical nature. Yet, physical nature is but a spiritual dream. It is an extreme in cold turkey effect in humans that prevents soul's true redemption.

Any form of belief is a state of brainwashing. The more certain a person is about, for instance, his religious faith, the more wrong the person is. Religions brainwash their adherents. It makes adherents comfortable in their physical situation and gives them false 'hope' in a comfortable 'here-after'. It is the only way creeds get into existence and by which they become wide-spread and by which they are maintained. For instance; being a dedicated American citizen, as recognized by the news media and the general public, is a state of conditioned brainwashing. Having physical awareness as a creature is a state of spiritual brainwashing. It is the spiritual entity's conditioned state of believing a spiritual lie over the spiritual truth. A soul who believes a structural lie about true reality negates and forgets that reality completely. Humans as physical creatures can only see the truth according to the spiritual lie believed by their brainwashed spiritual entities (souls). The word 'soul' truly means a spiritual entity spiritually deceived and of no realeffect.

Our deceiver is our god Jehovah, the serpent. Because of a spiritual lie believed we, as souls, are dead to the true spiritual reality. Now, according to the supposed truth about the lie we have physical, but not spiritual, awareness. The physical reality has taken on a guise of being genuine. This is exactly the result professional brainwashers seek to instill into their victims/pupils. Totally brainwashed people see the world through brainwashed conditioned awareness. They are convinced that what they now know is the truth about reality- -but unfortunately, this state of being brainwashed spiritually, when one does not receive outside spiritual help, closes all mental doors for return to the true state of affairs in spirit. That is the very, and only reason that the spirit in Jesus came among us. We, as hallucinatory projections of deceived spirit, are the only means for this spirit of truth in Jesus to get in touch with our deceived and comatose souls.

Brainwashed people are extremely outspoken and adamant about the propaganda they believe. It is the mental effort of making sense of, and believing in propaganda that makes the brainwashing stick in one's mind. That is the reason for the authoritative behavior of highly trained people. They truly believe all the hype they learned, and if they do not do so they pretend to reap whatever reward they think is due to them for having all that education. It does really pay off.

Any outside effort to correct a brainwashed/educated person's misperceived outlook on reality will meet with very strong adamant resistance. If one wants to do this to a group of brainwashed people/professionals, the group can become seriously hostile toward the speaker and might even want to kill the speaker (as they did to Jesus).

Here is the real problem: the more education (brainwashing) a person has received in his life, and the more the person relies on making a livelihood with the material learned, the more easy it is to continue to brainwash the person and the harder it is to make him/her see the falsehood of his misperceptions. This is a general truth, well understood by propaganda scientists and technical experts.  Educated people had to absorb enormous amounts of truly unverified information. They are sitting ducks for clever propagandists.

It is much harder to shed one's false beliefs on which one's whole physical existence seems to depend than to believe a lie about the original 'truth'. What parades in our minds as the 'truth' is easy and unencumbered by mental gymnastics because we grew up, and were continually conditioned into it. One could say it is cheap because it costs us no mental effort to remain in original truth (whatever one could conceive this truth to be- -this truth could very well be a lie). So, when someone comes along and tells a differing opinion about this 'truth' that so far outshines the conditions for him in the present truth, it is easy to make the lie stick and make this differing opinion the new truth and to chuck out the previous truth. This called a process of seduction or propaganda- -I call it a system of lies. That is what happened between Woman and the serpent. Once a lie is believed about her true 'reality', she lost that reality because the lie made it disappear so that a reality based on the lie can appear and can now be disguised as the truth.

All creatures are caught in a spiritual delusion that is the foundation of some sense of physical reality. Because of the spiritual delusion presently held in soul physical reality appeared and established itself as true reality; but it is the common spiritual fiction held in the mind of all physical creatures. We all see the universe for what it is because the delusion is common. We were taught to see it the way we see it and we reinforce this delusion on each other every moment- -just as religious groups reinforce their delusions on each other.

We must get a grip on our spiritual nature. If we are spiritually awake, why do we have a physical sense of awareness and absolutely no spiritual awareness of being? We either are spiritually awake or physically awake. Again the proposition is to be or not to be. Not to be is to negate our higher or innate spiritual reality and thus to be aware in the physical sense. In physical nature nothing is laid down in hard and fast rules. Everything is relative- -even our physical sense of awareness. This clearly indicates a spiritual confusion. Spirit can only be confused when it is unaware of it true environment; hence physical creatures are delusions of souls' spiritual minds.

Because of the spiritual delusion true reality vanished and its surrogate "physical reality" came into expression and true reality was deliberately rejected, repressed and utterly forgotten.

The truth that will set one free is that creatures have believed a spiritual lie and are now caught in utter nothingness, which nothingness is the necessary foundation for the acceptance of a surrogate fictional reality- -physical reality.

True reality cannot be lost as long as one is in full agreement with it. One is eternal. The proof that physical creatures exist in a fictional reality is that they must be born into it and must die and lose the physical sense of the reality of their, supposed, primal mode of being. Creatures, obviously, are not eternal so they must be ficitonal.

It is only possible to enter into and exit from a sense of reality when one realizes that one is dealing with fiction. One can, also, exit true spiritual reality, only, when one is cleverly seduced to accept a structural lie about that sense of original reality; because once a lie is introduced into one's spiritual sense of true reality (incorporates a fiction in one's understanding of the true environment) it is not a true reality anymore but a fiction. When this is fully understood, one has learned what the "Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil" offers to teach us as spirits. Lies/propaganda when believed will eject us from our sense of previous fiction into a new, cleverly arranged fiction. This process is always at work in physical reality- -that is why our understanding of reality will not be that of our offspring in the near and farther removed future.

The true master enlightens the pupil on the truth that was lost by taking the delusion seriously. Once a pupil again grasps the spiritual truth of its condition, and the reality of a spiritual realm that was lost thereby, he/she can relinquish the physical universe and is in a position to wake up in true reality- -the true reality on which all spiritual beingness is based. That, folk, is true soul travel!

Humans, however, have a remote ability of grasping the truth of their spiritual dilemma, while animals are utterly incapable of it. Therefore humans have a chance on spiritual redemption while animals have not. However, animals can contemplate their situation and experience like humans but in most cases are incapable of taking rational action, because of physical and mental limitations in their bodily make-up. The hyper-anxiety native to their nature prevents any spiritual thought.

Animals are like humans but animals have accepted a greater set of systems of lies than humans. The lies they, as souls, have believed have overcome their spiritual capacity to seek redemption. Truth has become out of reach and reality based on a lie has taken the foreground permanently. Humans, by default, are on a journey to become fully animal. Spiritual evolution spirals downward away from spiritual reality into situations of even more confining traps of receding, spiritual and physical aliveness. Only understanding the truth of our spiritual situation can abruptly reverse this downward spiral and reestablish soul in true reality. The truth, as Jesus taught, will set us free from bondage of existence in a set of spiritual and universal lies believed. This is the only message the spirit in Jesus came down to earth to teach.

Even though most religious creeds teach that 'truth will set you free' very few have any idea what class of truth this statement deals with. Many people have stated the true facts about an incident as they can remember or perceive them and by stating the true facts may have gotten them selves in serious trouble. By not knowing with what sort of truth we are dealing in Jesus' statement people must continue to reincarnate; because there are only two sorts of reality- -true reality and a derivative of true reality by including a structural lie into the true reality. This lie will erase reality from one's spiritual mind and substitute a false one.

As long as souls continue to accept the lie there is only one place they can be at all- -the false reality. A reality where everything is relative; where good can become evil simply through clever propaganda campaigns and evil can parade as good. The Bible states that the devil always comes to you in a disguise of good- -a shining angel of truth. What is more like such a brightly shining angel than our god Jehovah, himself? He is the serpent we took as the truth-sayer in spirit; and Jesus is his adversary who came among us to reclaim back those who can have his true spiritual truth; its opposite- -the original true spiritual truth. Or, of course, Jesus can be made to be seen as a spiritual adversary/serpent in Jehovah's garden- -the physical universe. So, if Jesus parades as the Christ in our, Jehovah-conditioned minds, then from the perspective of the spiritual war, Jesus, the intruder from beyond the boundaries of the universe, is really an adversary/anti-Christ of Jehovah.

Seek to grasp the truth of your spiritual situation before your soul will atrophy to sole dependence for beingness in the natural, physical realm as animals. Animal life is the first step in hell that is irreversible.

Everything we have learned and experienced in earth: of a physical, religious, philosophical and scientific nature is spiritual fiction that will reinforce the delusion of fictional reality on you and continues to hide the spiritual reality. One can see that regaining the original spiritual truth is most improbable for almost all of us- -even our understanding of spirit is delusion. We have been so deceived spiritually that souls continue to determinedly negate their own real existence (remain comatose to true reality) and pretend existence in a philosophy of lies. This pretense reveals itself as, very real-seeming physical reality.

In addition, in the same way humans have learned to tame and use animals for their benefit, we have also learned to use bacteria to our advantage.

 

Aside from the uses of bacteria, their deficiency might as well lead to harmful effects on human health. Scientists have proven through research that killing useful bacteria from the surface of skin can leave the skin less immune to allergies.

 

The most important role that bacteria play in helping humans and the earth is causing decay. If bacteria did not decompose dead bodies of living things, the leftovers will not be able to be a part of eco system and the whole balance would be disturbed. There are countless bacteria present in the human intestine. It is assumed that the amount of bacteria present in an intestine is more than the amount of cells lining the organ.

These bacteria play an important role in the digestion of food and also destroy harmful organisms that might enter along with food.

These microorganisms are used in the production of antibiotics, wine, vinegar, butanol and organic acids. Other industrial uses of bacteria include tanning of leather and curing of coffee and tea.

 

Therefore, bacteria which have a bad reputation of being harmful, is something that maintains a healthy balance not just in our body, but in the overall eco-system as well.

POST MODERN GOVERNMENT  -   BY DEFAULT.

As Europe falls apart at the seams, recession shows a sluggish head of steam that promises a peculiar landing in the not too distant future. Germany as ever, pulled together by the redoubtable Ms. Merkel trembles at the thought of their Walter Mitty Chancellor getting involved in baling out Greece and Co. The thought of an Economic Government of Europe with as many Governments already as it has departments, sends shivers down the spines of the contributing nations like Britain, Holland and the ever watchful Scandinavians who have as yet not fully comprehended the vastness of the public expenditure and wasteful corruption linked fortunes poured into the Mediterranean States. The German Chancellor´s statements on an Economic Government of Europe sounds therefore like another excuse for new levels of indirect taxation.

Greece, Spain and Portugal share attitudes reminiscent of their old dictatorial identities and what monies have been spent to modernise them have not gone beyond the top layers of the economic society. False premises linked to fortune hunting by overjoyed industrialist has put eggs in the wrong baskets leaving difficult economic platforms ignored in favour of easy third world tourist targets wooed by sun and glossy images. Meanwhile, the die-hard unions and strident left wingers have ensured that labour costs and job deterrents have been put into place in the mistaken belief that business ventures will go ahead despite them. In fact, a policy of grossly mistaken attribution to the entrepreneur the duties of family support that the very Governments appears to avoid at all cost. All three countries have deflected investment away from production and fed the multinationals at the expense of the genuine background foundations of the small and medium sized companies.

Labour legislation backed by aggressive runaway taxation and background judicial teeth have ensured, as it did in Argentina that entrepreneurial talent and monies have flee to better shores.

Contributors taken for granted.

A total lack of credit given to the genuine ruling and contributing members of the European community, by the media of these countries and a self congratulatory lever put in its place has resulted in the blame for failure being attributed to the European Union. It is a well known international secret that without the Union, these defaulting countries would have been where they always were – in strict poverty and military intervention in the wings.The blame however rests squarely on the wanton abuse of member funds which have not only increased the burden of taxation in the upper States but provided opportunities for impractical usage of such funds, for want of use, of the dreaded word corruption. The pigeons have now come home to roost and there is no welcoming party. Ms. Merkel has to be extremely careful this time in allowing her eternal optimism to sink the contributing members into further debt. Taking into account that what should have been a low percentage based dragnet of a tax – the much disliked intrusive VAT, is now racing towards the 20% mark. This outrageous marker of State audacity is disastrously close to petrifying growth and reminding all European citizens that they are no longer free agents within their fiscal lives, but partners of overcommitted, States. Hardly a heritage for a succeeding generation.

Enthusiasm rather than foresight

The other well kept open secret is that Germany courts France with a campness that smacks of patronage which is not shared by countries like Britain who in this case, understandably, has a growing number of citizens wary of the association. It is no laughing matter to see the potential threat to the value of the Euro which loosely studied measures led by such political lobbies could unleash. Such moves could plunge all members, including Germany, into a pit from which only Providence could stop them from falling as the new, hardly competent,  members struggle to perform in this void. The political implications,  with the power struggles now emerging with depressing clarity in the outer fringes of Europe, are daunting.  China and Russia look on and perhaps as a result, Uncle Sam will begin to look on with fresh sympathy if only to keep its back clear of the flack. The development therefore,  of a completely fresh approach with a declaration of war on member state labour manipulation, unfair demands and restrictions that deny economic growth by sheer ignorance, is the only order of the day. Additionally, the ruthless pruning of the social services by the very Governments which created them, with a cost efficiency comb is in the public mind, despite the reckless Union noises.

Party politics have now reached a crossroad in public management which is reflected in the gradually tailing off of electoral support. Social psychological health has never been so low and the picture international youth is getting, deprives them of the will to involve themselves in or perhaps even understand this morasse. A new social order therefore has to emerge with a light at the end of that tunnel which is plainly visible from the start. Old traditions, values and cultural elitism have to change their colours. Perhaps for the first time in centuries political challenges should be the welfare of the people in every corner of the world instead of the divisive tactics that have clouded real issues. Whilst Science and knowledge is laudable and interesting it cannot be placed above simple human values. It is no coincidence that Green is the colour of hope and progressively so much to the chagrin of those who only think in terms of mathematics. Relatively common issues like family needs, social opportunities, constructive entertainment and disciplined tutelage should replace the ridiculous pursuit of profit margins for their own sake as standard yardsticks of success. The stock market phobias now manipulated by the few with the power to milk it at the expense of the rest creates visions of carrot driven chariots forever running round racetracks as an excuse for living. The time, is for the world Governments to sit down and remind each other that humanity is now at risk and that somehow, civilisation and the very fabric of life has been ignored to the point of disintegration. Schumacher was quite right, small IS beautiful. Ms. Merkel should stop putting lids on covers and let each member state choose their own destinies, with their own efforts and money, to enable the rest to work together towards higher, more meaningful, things.

Vision: Animals vs. Humans

As the “superior” living creature on earth, human beings take their amazing and miraculous five senses for granted and also often forget to stop and think about the animals who share their world and how each animal’s senses work and affect his life and ours. Overall, animals see, smell, taste, feel and ear in accordance with what they need in order to best survive. For human beings, the same rule applies, except, that we have the incredible ability to be able to sometimes repair or compensate for the damage done to or deterioration of one or more of these senses. Sight is a great example of this. In essence, we use it to keep us out of harm’s way, just as animals do; except that their harsh living conditions ensure that they have different visual needs to those of ours.

For decades we have been taught that dogs and cats are colorblind. Recent research has destroyed these myths and explained that dogs and cats cannot see certain colors; yet they see others perfectly. However, in contrast to humans, dogs and cats have excellent peripheral vision and superb night vision.

When it comes to goats, their square pupils are the focus of most attention, with people not realizing that this is not the most impressive point regarding their vision. In fact, the most impressive is that they can see at a 330 degree angle in comparison to humans who can only see at around a 185 degree angle.

Moving to the wild, horses, zebras and other such mammals have eyes which actually point sideways so that they can see peripherally. This gives them a far better chance to escape from predators; yet also gives them the disadvantage of a blind-spot directly in front of their noses. They also mostly see the world in shades of grey. In contrast to humans who see two images as one merged vision, these animals always see two separate images.

Bees and insects are really interesting where sight is involved. They see the world as a sort of mosaic owing to eyes which are made up of anything from ten to 30,000 tiny lenses, each one giving a different image to the overall picture that they see. When it comes to what colors they can see, this differs according to each insect. For example, butterflies can apparently see more colors than humans can; while bees cannot see the color red and mostly only see yellow, green and blue. The interesting thing about bees is that they are able to see ultraviolet light - a level of sight to which humans cannot even desire to reach.

Birds can also see this ultraviolet light, as well as many more colors than humans. Researchers also say that birds see color far more vividly than humans do. In the case of birds of prey, their binocular vision is excellent, and so they can spot prey from thousands of feet away.

Snakes have long been thought to have no or very low vision and operate according to smell. This is incorrect. In general they see worst before they shed their skin and best just after but snakes also have two sets of eyes - one for day use and one for night use and they use both. The difference is that snakes see things according to movement and so will often not notice, or pay attention to a motionless object. On the other hand, they have the ability to pick up infrared heat signals from warm objects.

The list is endless with each animal having its own special visual ability. At the end of the day, however, the comparison of animals to humans ends at the point of visual loss. When a wild animal loses its ability to see, the rules of the wild usually hint at near death by a more superior animal. There is no room for weakness in the wild. Human beings however, have developed methods for improving weak sight and treating damaged eyes.

We live in a world in which we stress the importance of going for annual eye examination. Egg Farm Investigation By Humane Society Of The United States Misleads Consumers

I have a double-dose of fed up. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), as well as other animal rights groups, continue to mislead the public on animal abuse and food safety with todays release of an undercover video of an egg production facility in Texas.

On one hand Im sick of those bad players in the livestock industry who mistreat their animals. On the other, Im sick of the animal rights activist groups who promote these isolated incidents as an indictment of the entire meat and egg industry.

Texas Farm Bureau Yes, HSUS is an animal rights group. And just to clear the air, theres a distinct difference between animal rights and animal welfare.

Livestock producers are believers in animal welfare. They believe in the proper and humane use of animals. They believe they have a duty to treat animals properly. They make a moral distinction between animals and human beings. They ensure the health, well-being and safety of their animals through proper food, management and shelter.

Animal rightists believewith almost religious fervorthat livestock such as chickens, pigs and cows are equal to humans. The ultimate goal of the animal rights movement is the complete elimination of the livestock production. Theyll stop at nothing to achieve that objective.

Ill repeat what Ive said in the past. The small number of producers who abuse the privilege of raising and caring for food animals give a black eye to those who do it right. There is no excuse for animal cruelty. Individual producers should adopt a zero tolerance policy and work to get those who abuse animals out of business.

In the eyes of many animal rights groups, livestock producers are on the same level as dog beaters. Thats not news to me. Painting all livestock producers as sadistic fiends by associating them with bad apples is a proven winner in the animal rights activist playbook.

Animal rights groups use animal abuse and food safety issues to mask their real intentions. They care a lot more about getting consumers to quit eating meat than harboring a real concern for animals. Take a look at the Mercy For Animals, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or Humane Society of the United States websites and its pretty self-explanatory.

Im not making excuses for the livestock industry. Those who inhumanely treat animals should be punished. Seems to me though, that the compassion, honesty and integrity of dealing with humans has been lost by animal rights groups who claim to hold the moral high ground when it comes to the proper care and treatment of livestock.. They are trying to force their views on animal rights on everyone. They overstep the bounds of decency when they smear an entire industry as evil because of the actions of a few.

Waco, TX - Publications Director of the Texas Farm Bureau Mike Barnett says the Humane Society of the United States' recently-released undercover report/video of an egg production facility in Texas misleads consumers into believing there is a major problem with animal abuse and food safety in the United States in his latest Texas Agriculture Talks blog post.

"On one hand I'm sick of those bad players in the livestock industry who mistreat their animals," writes Barnett. "On the other, I'm sick of the animal rights activist groups who promote these isolated incidents as an indictment of the entire meat and egg industry."

He adds that animal rights groups like the Humane Society of the United States-instead of harboring a real concern for animals-use terms like "animal abuse" and "food safety" to mask their real intention, which is to get consumers to stop eating meat in oftentimes forceful and deceptive ways. While Barnett acknowledges that the livestock industry has not been perfect, most producers are believers in animal welfare. They believe in the proper and humane use of animals and that they have a duty to treat animals properly.

"The small number of producers who abuse the privilege of raising and caring for food animals give a black eye to those who do it right. There is no excuse for animal cruelty," explains Barnett. And there's no excuse for misleading consumers the way some groups are doing today."

Human Feelings Vs Animal Venom

Recently I was watching a very interesting episode on the Nat Geo Society channel with my son. It was about the most venomous or 'poisonous' creatures in the world. They showed the most deadliest spider, starfish and snake on the planet. What we saw was how these creatures posed threat not only to other species that entered their comfort zones, but also their own types that interfered or disrespected their boundaries.

I couldn't help identifying these rather 'shameful' traits with, well, human instincts! I know, I know, sounds horrible, but by the time you get to the end of this article, you'll be nodding in agreement.

Ever noticed how pleasant you are to those that you get on very well with. They absolutely love you, like your company and speak highly of you. But wait till you fall out with these very people, and then see what they say about You and how wicked You, get with them - too!

You see, what happens here is this: Like animals, we have instincts too - survival instincts. Our subconscious is set at 'protecting' us. So whenever we are faced with a 'threatening' or bitter situation, our subconscious mind sets in to 'protect' us, and hence we do anything to protect ourselves. We defend our actions and 'justify 'our motives - and almost every time prove ourselves to be right! We say things that can be unbelievable even to our own ears. Things we never comprehended we could think, let alone say, we say!! In some cases, we go to the extent of planning certain actions or series of events to hurt our (new)enemy, that we surprise ourselves.

We've given our poisons or venoms different names depending on the intensity of effect.

These are Anger, hatred, bitterness, jealousy and grudge, popularly known as 'feelings'. These are the forms of human poisons. However, most of the times these harm the beholder more than the person they are aimed at!

So how does this compare to the animals that 'sting', 'inject' or 'bite' poison into their victims? Well, the answer is simple: our words and actions (violent & physical )that originate from the above feelings of anger, hatred, bitterness, jealously and grudge - hurt the person they are aimed at, so deeply that it leaves the victim crying in pain and leaves them joyless for days. In extreme cases, we hear of heart attack in victims following bitter arguments.

I can go on giving evidence of how similar we are to venomous animals. Animals as graceful as giraffes were shown fighting ruthlessly over a female giraffe! Do I really need to give examples of boy gangs and girl gangs turning against their own friends over love or lust?!

What we don't hear of in animals, (and that may just be a matter of time), is the effect of these poisons in the carrying animal. In humans, we now have scientific evidence which show that these strong feelings of anger, hatred, anxiety etc cause certain acidic secretions in the body which often lead to illnesses such as depression, ulcers and migraines. In extreme cases though these result in cancers and other terminal diseases.

Good news is, that intelligent as we humans are, we can actually turn these situations around for ourselves. Humans have the power to change, to heal and to create. But that is a whole new chapter and I'll be revealing those to you over the coming weeks. In the meantime, here's what I found worth missing Eastenders for!!
