German players have just taken part in a wild photo collection named “World Cup Safari” for Bild Sport. The photo gallery was taken by photographer Hans Juergen Schmidt. Talented players like Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Podolski, Schweinsteiger and Philipp Lahm are made up into strange species or asked to pose with wild animals. It was reported that animals in the photo series were well fed. After the shoot, Podolski was wounded in the arm by a little lion. However, he said it was a really wonderful experience. New captain Philipp Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger were the first ‘victims’ in the shoot. Let's check out stunning photos of German players.
