Image of a group of women, probably fish women, crossing the mud as they gather shellfish on Seaton Carew beach, as according to the historian Sir Cuthbert Sharp, such women would ''procure the mussels from the scalps'' (the mudbanks which were the mussels' natural habitat), in addition to carring and baiting the fishing lines and searching for sand eels when they were in season, sometimes walking as far as the mouth of the River Tees to do so.

Story Of The Image : I recently had a shooting with Dotdean and his girlfriend - we where out in the woods and fields arround my hometown. At this time I thought : I would like to see him floating in the air. So we did it. Kinda difficult in the wood, but doable. This one made a lot of fun and another one will follow next days. Check it out in BIG.
Processing : Selective Leveladjustment, Colortreatment (added blue), Dodging / Burning / No Photomanipulation. What you see is real. Time : 35 min

... the lean, mean, team of Mr. Bean's investigative clones have been given the job of doing a thorough search of an abandoned, condemned property, including the main building and all the surrounding area. Their assignment was to find one thing good about such an ugly piece of property.
After days and days of intense search, the cry they've all been waiting to hear rings out, "I've found it!"
The good thing found will be revealed after the clone contest ends this coming Sunday.

Christmas Titan

Cassini's Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) instrument captured Titan on December 25, 2012 in order to search for clouds on the Fensal-Aztlan region as part of its "Titan Monitoring Campaign." Titan's North Polar hood & South Polar Vortex are both visible in this composite. (North is up)
This RGB false color composite of Titan is in 3 different filters: infrared, methane band, and ultraviolet.
These images were taken on December 25, 2012 and received on Earth December 26, 2012. The camera was pointing toward TITAN at approximately 1,316,444 miles (2,118,612 kilometers) away, and the images were taken using the CL1, MT3, UV3 and CB3 filters.
