This is an image of a wood duck taken in the tiny pond in the backyard. Except for nesting females, this is the latest the woodies have stayed in the pond. Probably because of the extremely late spring we had. The later spring does gives the images a lot more green.

negative gator art

A "negative" look at the juvenile gator I posted earlier.

Basically, I used "Select-Color Range" in Photoshop and painted the selected areas – bit by bit – in black on a separate layer until I got this negative image. It's a bit darker than my normal art projects but I liked the process and outcome of this one.

News Flash! Cow gets out of pasture.

Not much happens in this cow town, so when a cow gets out, it's BIG NEWS around here. Here you see the Beltie cows racing across the pasture trying to stay close to their colleague who leaped the fence and now wants to get back inside. I think he jumped over the fence from a little hill that overlooks it.
